Two months of KHL’s regular season has flown by and the league has announced the best players for the month of October.
The best goalie – Edward Pasquale (Lokomotiv Yaroslavl) who managed to bank eight regulation victories and one in a shootout. The goalie recorded four shutouts while facing 254 shots as he stopped 96.06% of them with a GAA of 0.98. Pasquale shutout streak lasted for 139 minutes and 54 seconds.
The best defenseman – Daniil Miromanov (HK Sochi) who recorded eight points (3G&5A) in eleven games. He managed to block nine shots on goal while making 27 shots of his own. Miromanov shined the brightest against Barys Nur-Sultan where he scored two goals.
The best forward – Justin Danforth (Vitjaz Podolsk). His team managed to win six of their eleven games as the player earned twelve points (5G&7A) while also earning a positive rating of plus three. Danforth recorded 19 hits and blocked of the opponent shots.
The best rookie – Yegor Chinakhov (Avangard Omsk). Chinakhov has been off to a great start as he has been named top rookie for the second straight month. He appeared in nine games earning 7 points (3G+4A). His best performance was against the Avtomobilist team where he managed to earn three assists. The Blue Jackets prospect had twenty shots on goal, averaging 16 minutes and 9 seconds of ice time as well as four hits during the month of October.
