The Eastern conference currently has all eight spots taken up already, while the drama in the West is still on and likely will continue till the end between Spartak Moscow and Vityaz Podolsk. Both teams are currently tied at 56 points with 54 games played. The league leader in points – AkBars Kazan with 84 points are from the Eastern Conference.
