The Chicago Wolves were one of three AHL teams last season to boast not one, but two NHL affiliations. While Chicago was awash in an abundance of prospects between a new NHL affiliate (Carolina) and temporary one (Nashville), this season will be much different going back to just Carolina. Plus, in the offseason, not only will there be the standard departures via signing with other teams and retirement, there are now those heading to Milwaukee after the Ads took the season off and Chicago hosted their young talent in 2020-21.
The Wolves kick off the 2021-22 season at home on October 16th against their interstate rivals, the Rockford IceHogs. Follow along below to see how Chicago’s roster shakes out as the season draws closer!
