There’s never a lot of talk about the Vegas Golden Knights prospects because they’ve traded more than a few of them. They don’t have one of the deepest systems in hockey, but they do have some talented players worth mentioning. They shouldn’t trade any of them, but we all know that’s probably not going to happen.

This versatile forward is their #1 prospect by a good margin. Buffalo and other teams have been asking for him in trade talks. He has excellent vision and sees the open lanes, and has a quick outlet pass. Accurate passes get scoring chances. His skating is top-notch, and he can zig and zag past defenders. Krebs can score goals too. He will probably start the year with Henderson in the AHL.
This center has a ton of skill and good speed. He’s a playmaker, but he will get his share of goals. He’s a hockey player. He has the instincts and the analytical nature of looking within to continue to try and make himself a better hockey player. He’s always improving, and he pushes himself hard on and off the ice. His father, Pat, has some famous clients like Sidney Crosby who Brendan has worked out with.
This center is a good skater with good acceleration. A goal scorer who can playmaker as well. His hockey I.Q. will carry him a long way.
This 23-year-old was an NCAA star, and he potted ten goals and 23 assists in the AHL last season. He’s a two-way, classic left winger who digs in the corners and has a nose for the net. Dugan can jump start the offensive playing the right way.
This winger is a good skater and knows how to get the puck, in corners or on rebounds. He has a long reach and a quick release on his shot. He uses some deception with his wrist shot, and that should work even in the NHL if he gets there.
This big defenseman is a boom or bust pick. There’s no in-between. The Russian keeps his head up, has good vision, and has a strong wrist shot. 6-3 frame to build on. Some of his one-timer goals go in via bad goaltending. Chayka needs more hustle.
This left wing has a good wrist shot. He’s able to play on the rush and deliver the goods. The Finn has a pro slapshot. He’s fast to lose pucks and will play with aggression.
This center is 6-5. His dad is Wayne, and his uncle is Keith. He has snarl, will drop the gloves but also has good hands to set up a teammate or score down low.
This defenseman has a great point shot. He’s a good defenseman who gets to the puck first and has decent defensive awareness. The upside is there.
This defenseman has a sweet shot, and he battles. He’s fast, and he has spunk. He has tools.
