SEASON SYNOPSIS
The Hartford Wolf Pack emerged from the three-team Atlantic Division of 2021 to a full eight-team Atlantic in 2021-22. The Wolf Pack jockeyed for position throughout the season, finding a spot atop the division at the beginning of February. Then, Hartford took a tumble, going 11-20-3 between February 2 and April 24 to finish the season seventh in the division, barely missing the postseason by a .007 point percentage. Since the Wolf Pack moniker was reinstated in 2013 (after two and a half years as the Connecticut Whale), they have only made the playoffs once. Hartford finished the year 32-32-8 with 72 points and an even .500 points percentage.
Right winger Anthony Greco led the team in goals (20), assists (39), and total points (59) in 66 games played. Fellow right wings Jonny Brodzinski and Ty Ronning contributed 18 goals and 21 assists for 39 total points in 36 and 69 games played, respectively. Goaltender Keith Kinkaid compiled a record of 20-14-2 in 37 games played, posting a 31-save shutout on January 15, 2022 against Laval.
