SEASON SYNOPSIS
After taking a hiatus during the 2020-21 season, the Milwaukee Admirals kicked its 2021-22 season off with a bang, beating the Grand Rapids Griffins 7-3 on October 16, 2021. The opening night win was the only time the Admirals would see the win column in the month of October. Despite the rough start to the season, Milwaukee was able to keep up with the competition, finishing third in the Central Division. Their 87 points and record of 39-28-5-4 allowed them to find a spot in the 2022 Calder Cup Playoffs.
The Admirals won a best of five series, 3-2, against the Manitoba Moose before moving on to the Division Finals to play the Chicago Wolves. Milwaukee managed to push the series to four games, but were unable to stop the Wolves, who were destined to become the 2022 Calder Cup Champions.
