Only four teams remain with favorites like the Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Edmonton Oilers all falling along the way. The Carolina Hurricanes and Vegas Golden Knights are the new favorites to win the Stanley Cup. 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs Conference Final Betting Odds
Carolina Hurricanes (-128) vs Florida Panthers (+105)
The Eastern Conference Final is set as the Carolina Hurricanes will take on the Florida Panthers. With the series beginning on Thursday, early money favours the Hurricanes to win the series. And rightfully they should be. Carolina is the top seed remaining in the East. Florida was the last team to get in. Not to mention, the Hurricanes are the favourites to win the Stanley Cup.
But as we have seen with other favourites, they have lost. Carolina has a different feel this year. Their structured game will give the Florida Panthers fits. Florida must remain patient with the puck. The Panthers have 2012 Los Angeles Kings vibes, but will the time off hurt them? That is the biggest question facing the Panthers. Carolina is looking for their third trip to the Stanley Cup Final, while the Panthers are looking to make their first trip back since 1996.

Dallas Stars (+105) vs Vegas Golden Knights (-133)
Over in the Western Conference, the Vegas Golden Knights are making their fourth trip to Western Conference Final in six seasons. Vegas has only been around for six seasons. Their opponent is a familiar one the Dallas Stars. Dallas and Vegas faced off in the Western Conference Final in the 2020 bubble. Dallas won that series, but this time it is different. Vegas has a more complete team and this one is closer than Carolina and Florida, but Vegas has a slight edge.
Now Dallas has the edge in goal, but Vegas is a more deeper and complete team. Oh yeah, sub storyline Pete DeBoer takes on his former club in Vegas. Vegas is looking to get back to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since their inaugural season of 2018, while the Stars trying to get there for the second time in four seasons and the fourth time in franchise history. Contrasting styles make fights and this should be a good one.
As the oddsmakers have stated everything points to a Carolina-Vegas final, but as we have seen in the Stanley Cup Playoffs anything can happen.
