2023 Belleville Senators Offseason Tracker

SEASON SYNOPSIS

During the 2022-23 AHL season, the Belleville Senators had one of the worst campaigns in the team’s short history. Compared to their abysmal debut year in 2017-18, the Senators went 31-31-10 this season, posting an even .500 points percentage (with 72 points) while finishing dead last (seventh) in the North Division. 

Despite their struggles, scoring was spread amongst Belleville and each player stepped up in a different area of the stat sheet. Roby Jarventie and Angus Crookshank led the team in power play goals (12). Crookshank also led the Senators with 26 goals. Cole Cassels’ 39 assists was the cream of the applesauce and Egor Sokolov was atop the leaderboard with 59 points. 

As you can see, it was not the best season for the Senators, but they were able to work through it as a team.
