11 weeks of KHL hockey have passed and as per usual, the league has announced the best players for the week. This time it includes some very familiar names.
The best goalie: Ivan Bocharov (Dynamo Moscow) who earned a shutout on the way to three victories during the week. The shutout against Neftehimik Nizhnekamsk was his second of the season. Bocharov faced 78 shots, averaging 26 SOA per game, averaging 1.01 GAA, and registered an SVS% of 96.15.
The best defenseman: Ville Pokka (Avangard Omsk). The Finn earned a goal and an assist on the way to two victories last week. His only goal was a game-winning goal against the Amur Khabarovsk squad. His rating stood positive at +3 for the week. Pokka managed to record five shots on goal, laid five hits while also blocking six opposing shots.
Best forward: Dmitrij Jaskin (Dynamo Moscow) who was on fire last week earning seven points (5G+2A) in three games in which his team earned victories. Jaskin netted a hat-trick against Dinamo Riga. His rating sat at a comfortable +5, he made twelve shots on goal, threw eleven hits, and blocked three shots.
The best rookie: Andrei Chivilev (Neftehimik Nizhnekamsk). The 20-year-old managed to get the first and second goal of his KHL career in two huge games against CSKA and Spartak Moscow squads while averaging 11 minutes and 38 seconds of ice-time.
