TORONTO,ON- On October 26, 2023, the Professional Women’s Hockey League announced the appointment of Amy Scheer to Senior Vice President of Business Operations for the league.
“Amy is a proven leader with incredible energy and passion for women’s sports that will benefit the entire PWHL,” said Stan Kasten, PWHL Advisory Board member in the league’s press release.
Role
Scheer will begin her new role in the PWHL on November 1, 2023. Amy Galani of Elysian Park Ventures has been serving as SVP of Business Operations on an interim Basis.
Once she steps into her role, Scheer will lead the league’s day-to-day business. She will also oversee the market performance for the league and all six teams.
