With the inaugural Professional Women’s Hockey League season set to start on January 1st, 2024, the league announced their broadcast schedule on December 29, 2023. All 72 games during the inaugural season will be available via linear or streaming partners. CBC/Radio Canada, TSN, RDS, and Sportsnet will handle national coverage of the games in Canada. While MSG Networks and NESN will provide regional coverage in the United States.
All PWHL games will be streamed on the league’s YouTube channel and will be made available outside of Canada.
“The visibility offered across our broadcast and streaming schedule is unprecedented in women’s hockey and reinforces the growing interest in our sport,” said Stan Kasten, PWHL Advisory Board member in the league’s press release. “Accessibility of PWHL games throughout our inaugural season is a giant win for fans everywhere. We felt it was a priority to engage a magnitude of committed partners on a variety of consistent platforms.”

PWHL Toronto and PWHL New York will drop the puck on the inaugural PWHL season in Toronto at 12:30pm ET on January 1st, 2024. At noon, there will be a live on-site studio pre-game.
The game will be broadcasted on CBC, Sportsnet, TSN, MSG Networks, NESN, Sportsnet Pittsburgh. Streaming wise, the league opener will be show on CBC Gem and YouTube.
For those who are looking for a French speaking broadcast, ICI TOU.TV will be broadcasting the opener. Throughout the season, French-language coverage will be split between RDS and Radio-Canada, ICI TOU.TV

All subsequent PWHL regular-season games are available to Canadian viewers on coverage divided across TSN, CBC, and Sportsnet which includes linear television and streaming on TSN+, CBC Gem, ca, the CBC Sports app, and Sportsnet+. Additional games will be announced pending NHL and AHL playoff schedules.

French-language coverage of all Montreal games will be split between RDS and Radio-Canada, ICI TOU.TV.

MSG Networks will be the home of all 24 PWHL New York games.

NESN will be the home of all 24 PWHL Boston games for fans in New England, excluding Fairfield County. Fans in New England can watch on NESN or stream on the NESN 360 app by logging in with their TV provider or purchasing a direct subscription.

League agreements with regional networks allow out-of-market distribution including the potential for games to be added on Sportsnet Pittsburgh and other networks on a case-by-case basis.
