SEASON SYNOPSIS
After getting booted from the 2022 Calder Cup Playoffs in the Central Division Finals by the eventual champion Chicago Wolves, the Milwaukee Admirals came into the 2022-23 season with a fire in their bellies. The Admirals were consistently strong in almost every aspect of their game. Their hard work and skill led them to finish in the second spot in the Central with 89 points and a record of 41-24-5-2.
Then, the Admirals went on their deepest run in the playoffs since 2006, making it to the Western Conference Finals. Unfortunately, new kids on the block — the Coachella Valley Firebirds — came away with a 4-2 series win to head into the Calder Cup Finals.
Cole Schneider did what captains do best and led the team in the regular season with 51 points and 25 goals.Â
Forward Luke Evangelista had himself quite the year as a rookie. He led the team in the regular season with 32 assists and ended third on the team with 41 points. The rookie’s production oozed into the playoffs where he was just shy of a point-per-game with 15 total points. Evangelista also led the team with 11 postseason assists.Â
